The T-Bird Jazz Band consists of 7th and 8th grade musicians from the Advanced Band. This is where any student that wants to, can explore the world of jazz. Some of these students will also go on to play in the MCHS jazz band. The Jazz Band musicians begin the year by learning the form of jazz and improv and then perform at the Christmas Concert. During the second semester, the students continue to advance their skills in jazz while they prepare to compete at the SWOSU Jazzfest and perform at the main Spring Concert. |
