The Monroney T-Bird band is consisted of mainly 6th graders, but also includes some 7th grade first year players. These students get to explore the world of music and make the decision on what they will play during the musical life. The beginning band musicians spend the first semester of the year learning the intricacies of their instruments and then perform at the Christmas Concert. During the second semester of the school year, the students continue to advance in their abilities and perform at the Spring Concerts as well as the Frontier City "Carousel of Music" festival here in Oklahoma City |
